Peter Minshall presents the Dying Swan, Trinidad and Tobago carnival 2016
Iconic carnival designer Peter Minshall has come back, after a decade of hiatus, to present a magnificent show, inspired by Russian ballet the ‘Dying Swan’ and the West African figure “Moko Jumbie”.
The masquerade entitled: The Dying Swan: Ras Nijinsky in drag as Pavlova was a graceful and elegant show, of the larger than life “drag ballerina” dancing on Camille Saint-Saëns’ original classical piece “Le Cygne”.
The show was presented at the King’s Parade Finale, for Trinidad and Tobago, on February 2nd 2016.
